# Baselines

> Browse every baseline Octiga can deploy, grouped by category, with a live count and the scopes each category covers.

A baseline is one security setting Octiga deploys and then keeps watch over, such as blocking legacy
authentication or requiring MFA. Baselines are grouped into categories by the kind of Microsoft 365
